I'm hella excited for Amor Eterno Tattoo's second annual Cholo Love Jam: I'm On The Outside Looking In... It's all going down next Saturday Feb.18th at Amor Eterno Tattoo here in Oakland, Califas. As you can remember last year's show was a blast, you member, member?! Click HERE for pics of last years Cholo Love Jam...

The theme of last year's art show was velvet paintings, well this year the theme is paño (handkerchief) art... a style of work made popular by prison inmates who use ballpoint pens to create beautiful work on paños, and I absolutely love love love... My boo El Angel will be part of the show, below is a sneek peek of his paño...

Charles Bradley is currently one of my favorite artist. He is a 62 year old soul singer, who until last year was living a hard life in the projects, then his debut album made it to Rolling Stone magazine's top 50 albums of 2011, now his life has changed for ever...
I got to see him perform last year at The Independent in SF, and let me tell you, he was more than amazing, he killed it so hard I would get chills as he hit those high notes. I can honestly say I've never seen anyone else perform with such gusto, and heart, he was so humble, genuine, and grateful for all his blessings, and not to mention his dance moves, he's got some sexy dance moves for a 62 year old. He has that type of voice that can transmit emotions so real that it just leaves you speechless...
I hope to see him perform again soon, but for now I'm looking very much forward to seeing the documentary Charles Bradley: Soul of America, premiering at the SXSW Film Festival this March 2012... take a look at the trailer below and tell me he is not amazing, cuz you know damn well he's all that and a bag of chips...
